Northcote Amateur Swimming Club has a long and proud history. Established over 45 years ago and based at Northcote College on the North Shore of Auckland, New Zealand, the club provides a fantastic environment to develop young swimmers in our community.
We offer swimming coaching to children from 6-16 years of age, catering to all swim levels and abilities.
The focus of the club is to bridge the gap between commercial swimming schools and competitive swimming clubs. The club offers lessons for confident beginners through to squad training for more advanced swimmers. It provides a fun and supportive environment where progress is recorded and celebrated. Squad training focuses on stroke development, fitness and improving tumble turns and diving. Activities are varied and fun, including race nights and stroke ‘n’ stride.
Club championships are held annually where squad swimmers have an opportunity to compete in age group levels for a vast array of cups and trophies.
We also offer adult swim coaching alongside our squad training if child numbers allow.
